David Hinson has over 25 years of practice experience spanning from residential to commercial, religious, and institutional work. In addition to his role in Hinson+Dagg, David serves as a professor in the school of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture at Auburn University. He previously served as School Head and has been a member of the faculty since 1997. David earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Auburn University in 1982 and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983. David began his professional career in Philadelphia, where he spent fifteen years in practice before joining the faculty at Auburn. David has earned five national teaching awards and was elevated to the AIA’s College of Fellows in 2008.
